About

More than just a shop… Poppy’s Pantry is an award winning Wholefoods Shop that has been supporting adults with a learning disability since its doors opened in 2008. Poppy’s has flourished over the past 11 years and supported over a hundred people to develop their skills and realise their potential.

Tucked away along Wilford Bridge Road in Melton, Poppy’s Pantry is one of Suffolk’s hidden gems. Offering a vast array of dietary specialist products in addition to plastic free alternatives and products with a low carbon footprint. Poppy’s sell vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, organic, local and fresh produce. There really is something for everyone in our shop!

Poppy’s offers a different shopping experience to supermarket giants with a laid-back atmosphere and cosy farm shop feel to it. You can browse at your own pace and support your local community simultaneously. Through the shop, we provide training and employment opportunities for people who are disabled and/or disadvantaged. This means when you buy from us you’re also changing people’s lives for the better.

Our dedicated shop team are always on hand to welcome you, provide assistance and answer any questions you may have. We’re also happy to try and source any product you cannot see on our shelves, just ask a member of staff about making a customer order.

Poppy’s Pantry is one of six social businesses within Realise Futures. Our aim is to improve and promote the economic and social wellbeing of those who are disadvantaged and/or disabled.
